Bec Hardy Wines Bec Hardy Wines, a family-owned winery in McLaren Vale, South Australia, is led by Bec Hardy, the first female vigneron from the Hardy family.

Enjoy award-winning wines and a rich heritage of 170 years at their welcoming cellar door Visit the Pertaringa cellar door to taste wines that reflect 170 years of South Australian winemaking heritage. The cellar door offers the flexibility of three new and exciting sit-down tasting flights, which features a wide range of wines to choose from and taste through at your own pace. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability, but pre-booked tastings get early bird savings and are preferred. Members of our Wine Club get all tastings free of charge. You can choose between an inside wine flight in our newly refurbished cellar door or a unique outside tasting experience surrounded by native flora and fauna while taking in the stunning views across the vineyards and eastern foothills of McLaren Vale. Some of you may notice a small change to the label of our 2025 R***e & Hunt Cabernet Sauvignon.
The first vintage of R***e & Hunt was produced in 2001 and takes its name from the corner of R***e Range and Hunt Roads in McLaren Vale, where our cellar door still stands today.
Since the 2013 vintage, the label has featured an English Pointer, reflecting our family’s long connection with the breed.
The recently bottled 2025 vintage carries a subtle refresh in memory of Churchill, our much-loved w**e dog, who many visitors will remember opening doors around cellar door in search of attention and the occasional treat.
We’ve certainly missed seeing him doing that this winter. Although, if we’re being honest, the office has been a lot warmer.
Here’s to Churchill. ❤️🍷🐾

Join us for a w**e tasting, a leisurely lunch from Chef Hayley Wilkinson’s French country-inspired kitchen, or both. We’re open daily from 10am–4pm throughout the long weekend.

Since its first release in 2001, Undercover Shiraz has been a constant in the Pertaringa range.
The 2024 vintage is arguably the finest since 2016 and has been selected for Singapore Airlines.Awarding it 96 points, Ken Gargett W**epilot described it as “delicious now and should remain so for the next fifteen years.”
