Join us at the Chalk Hill cellar door on Friday 18 September for Stargazing with Alpha Crucis Wines, AND the release of our 2023 Alpha Crucis Single Vineyard Syrah trio.

The collection brings together three distinct expressions of McLaren Vale:

šŸ· Alpha Crucis Clarendon Syrah

šŸ· Alpha Crucis Seaview Syrah

Throughout the evening, short presentations will introduce the new Alpha Crucis wines and the universe surrounding us. Youā€™ll then explore the night sky and deep space through powerful telescopes while enjoying premium wine and good company.

Tonight, we brought Chalk Hillā€™s award-winning Sensory Odyssey to Lolaā€™s Norwood for a very special evening of wine, food and music.

Guests discovered how sound can influence the way we experience wine, tasting their way through a selection of Chalk Hill wines, each paired with a curated soundtrack, before enjoying a three-course shared dinner.

A variety that has found a true home in McLaren Vale, the 2025 Chalk Hill Fiano is textural, flavourful and packed with personality. Crafted primarily in stainless steel, with a small portion matured in French oak, it delivers both freshness and complexity in equal measure.

Expect aromas of white stone fruit, citrus rind, fresh herbs and roasted almonds, leading into a palate layered with nashi pear, Meyer lemon, savoury spice, macadamia and almond notes.

Rich in flavour yet beautifully balanced, it's a wine that keeps revealing more with every sip.

We recently ventured into the ā€œSnake Pitā€ (our affectionate name for the Chalk Hill cellar! šŸ), and brought a few treasures back with us.

A small selection of older Shiraz and Cabernet vintages is now available to enjoy by the glass, with selected bottles also available to purchase. Weā€™ll be showcasing different vintages over time, giving you the chance to revisit some special chapters from Chalk Hillā€™s winemaking history.

Our cork-sealed wines are available to enjoy exclusively at the cellar door, allowing our team to check the quality of each bottle before it is served.
