Samuel's Gorge is a mosaic of dreams, with one principal philosophy, that of place. Gondwana's division, Kukabrack custodians, European colonialism, Vignerons past, all led a group of friends and benevolent dreamers to become Samuel's Gorge

The sun is going down on our 2023 Mosaic of Dreams. There are now only a few dozen left in Cellar Door. If you're keen to grab a bottle or two before it goes, jump onto our website or drop into the Cellar Door this weekend, and if you're visiting tomorrow, maybe bring and umbrella!!

Welcome to Winter, but fear not, we have heaters on the verandah and the fire crackling inside. We're open from 11am -5pm every day of the Long Weekend (and beyond). See you soon!

Our 2026 vintage is now finished, but there's no rest for our winemaking team who are busy blending new wines for you to enjoy. They take care to add just the right amounts of each parcel to create the wines you love. Watch this space for their releases later this year.

We've dropped into some cooler temperatures and grey skies, but it's still stunning overlooking the gorge (and it doesn't hurt that the fire is crackling and the heaters are on). There are a lot of Mum's who visit us, so we toast you all with a glass of our Comet Tail Sparkling Shiraz. We normally celebrate it's release with a bruncheon, so maybe add a glass to yours this Sunday. Ok, everyone else can enjoy a glass too!!

Glorious Autumn days with a glass of chilled red. Delicious. Heads up though guys, just as the sunny days will soon disappear, so will our 2025 Pinata People Carinyena Monastrell. The last 'stack' is now in the Cellar Door. Enjoy!

If patience is a virtue, we're extremely virtuous here on the hill. The last Gamay we released was in 2017. It's taken all this time for everything to come together and we're finally here, our first Gamay harvest from the new vineyard. Check out the joy on Justin's face! Ok, so it's still a little wait until we can get it in your glasses, but it's edging closer. Remain virtuous with us and we'll all celebrate together!

Happy Easter everyone! We've had a 'cheeky' Easter Bunny giving Justin advice on how to do pump-overs (we're pretty sure he knows how to do them). Hope your cheeky Easter Bunny found you.

We're enjoying some gorgeous Autumn days here. Perfect for tending the ferments (see the one with the cover, they all 'sleep' like this at night), and perfect for visiting the Cellar Door, for a tasting or a glass. We're open every day of Easter from 11am - 5pm. On your way in, you'll see the vintage in full swing. We even have grapes arriving on Good Friday. Have a safe, happy, peaceful Easter.

There's something hypnotic about watching the basket press in slow-mo. Check it out. Shiraz today. You can see all the action in our open air winery if you are able to visit any time over the next few weeks. If not, we'll keep you in the loop with what's happening. Pressing today!
