We may not take ourselves too seriously, but we are serious about crafting wines you’ll love. Returning from a ‘knees-up’ at midnight, mid vintage, she managed to kick off one high heel and slip back into a boot’ just as the cellar crew cried out, ‘Run Sister Run’; and exactly then our winemaker and label took flight! Jesse Auricht grows the grapes for our Calvary Hill Barossa Shiraz. The vineyard is in the southern Barossa region, near Lyndoch, and the wine is classic Barossa: the fruit balanced by acidity, and delivering both richness and balance.

Time reveals hidden depths and delights in Riesling and this 2018 Museum Release St Petri’s Riesling is a perfect example.

Pale gold with a green hint, it shows aromas of lime, honeydew, honeysuckle and marzipan with a subtle floral lift. The palate is bright and juicy, expanding into a long, textured, dry finish with lingering citrus and vibrant acidity.

Freshness meets complexity in a beautifully balanced wine, best enjoyed with good company and great food.

There are around 600-800 grapes in a bottle of wine and every single one of them sings with flavour. Together, they tell a story of the season and carry the intention of the winemaker. Is it science or is it art? We say both!

Tough vines make bold wines.

This Sister's Run Epiphany & Fleurieu Peninsula Shiraz is grown by Anthea Pridmore at her famous McLaren Vale vineyard. These tough Shiraz vines produce rich flavours in their berries as they strive to 'populate or perish'. And they're doing all that hard work just for you.
