Hi family and friends. We’ve got some 10 month old lambs processed this week. $130 for a half or $250 for a whole animal, cut and packed into chops and roasts. Collect from our farm at Flaxley this weekend. Cheers. Ando

Welcome to our family farm at Meadows SA, 15 minutes outside of Mt Barker and an easy drive up the freeway.

With the help of our local Kangarilla processor Glenn and our very accommodating local Meadows butcher Gus and Nathan our family now has an opportunity to bring to you our low input, grass fed and grass finished beef cattle and sheep (lamb, hogget and mutton).

Our animals receive the best of care and enjoy rotating from paddock to paddock on our rolling 200 acre farm known as Banksia Ridge.

This meat is straight from our farm to you. You can collect fresh from us on Saturday or Sunday mornings and enjoy a coffee and a bacon and egg sandwich, and see where your animals have been ethically raised

Whole sheep are also offered for spits

Sheep are cut into roasts and chops , either a whole or a half animal

Cattle are cut per your choice from the butchers cutting sheet. You can purchase a whole, a side (half) or a quarter.

All pieces are labelled and packed in bags ready for Sunday roast or BBQ or popped into your freezer

Prices will depend on the size of the animal and this is explained during the ordering process

We are also linking in to a further audience than simply family and friends via Farmer to Fridge and we will also supply to the public

At this stage we do not deliver, but we reckon it’s a great way for you and your family to see where your food comes from, depending on the weather we might even be able to organise a farm tour!
