June is a busy month for us unfortunately and of course all sessions will be weather dependant this time of year 🌧️ so at the moment just 2 dates (we may add a Sunday later):

Saturday 6th June - 603 Arena, Meelon
Saturday 20th June- Ravenswood Arena with Trevor

Time: 10am - 12pm
Cost: $80

Cattle work sessions are easy, encouraging & relaxed, focusing on beginners on cattle, green/ young horses and nervous riders💕 if your none of these and just love a chin wag and to ride anytime anywhere, your very welcome too 😊 (we’ll let you hoon at the end!)

Fun times at WA Junior Rodeo

What an incredible day for WA Junior Rodeo and the “Do It For Dolly” Foundation 💙

On behalf of WA Junior Rodeo, we would like to sincerely thank every single person who supported our Do It For Dolly Day, helping us raise awareness around bullying and reminding our young people that kindness matters.

A huge thank you to Bree Cocking for being our guest speaker. Your honesty, vulnerability and encouragement meant so much to our kids and families. Showing them that it is okay to not be okay, and encouraging them to reach out when they need help, is such an important message. We are also incredibly grateful for your ongoing sponsorship and continued commitment to supporting WA Junior Rodeo and our youth.

Thank you to Edmund and Amber for the use of your facilities and for providing such a fantastic new rough stock arena. Your hard work and generosity does not go unnoticed. A very special thank you to Amber for the countless hours and effort you put in behind the scenes to help get things organised for us.

A massive thank you to Courtney Reinke from All Bush Cattle Co for providing the junior bulls. This was the very first time WA Junior Rodeo has ever been able to offer Junior Bulls as an event, and it was an absolute hit. Both riders and spectators loved watching the action! 💥

Thank you to The Western Collective Rhenice and Toni for your sponsorship towards our raffle and for bringing your shop along for the day. There were definitely a few new ropes swinging out there 😃

🐂☕️CATTLE, COFFEE & CAKE 🧁🤠

Come have some fun playing with Texas Longhorns in a relaxed, friendly and slow paced arena. Ride at you and your horses own pace mini mustering, sorting and tracking quiet cattle.

Join us afterward for chat, coffee, cake and the kids will get the roping dummies out to have a go 🙂

Choose your May date from 10am - 12pm:

Located at Murray Hills Arena (East Coolup)
$80 pp

We welcome any discipline from beginners to advance but will try to balance the session. Given we only take 8 participants we appreciate your patience while we look at more weekends to come for 2026.

How stunning is ‘The Longhorn’ 😍

Affectionatly named, this 10yo is a part of the Walmsley family even appearing in family portraits!

He’s made guest appearances at local Ag shows & even has fans stop and take photos of him from the side of the road 🤩

This local family loves him so much, they got a second one!

Thanks for loving him, we love Longhorns too ❤️
