The Government-sanctioned native animal killing program you probably didn't know existed is killing millions of animals. But today we've exposed it.

We ran an inquiry into the licences to harm native animals that are given out by the Government- and the findings will shock you. Baby animals orphaned and not even considered, distraught neighbours finding injured or dying animals from botched kills, millions of animals having protections removed with no evidence they are even causing a problem, and almost no consideration of non-lethal alternatives.

Today that all changes. The Government has seen first hand how this rubber stamp process is failing animals and will review the whole system. A massive thank you to Humane World for Animals Australia for creating a report that really shone a spotlight on this issue and instigated the Parliamentary inquiry.

Autumn is a great time to visit Megalong Valley Farm and come to camp in our superb nature wonderland. There is nothing like enjoying the stillness and absorbing the serenity, as the colours of autumn herald the changing of the seasons. Time to sit by the fire under the starry night sky and reflect on how good the simplicity of nature really is.

Impulse idea last night, grab a bottle of ch*****ne, and sit amongst the campers to watch the "Wolf" moon rise. It was quite spectacular and really bright. Quite surreal. The campsite looked great, dotted in the blackness with small fires across the paddock as others watched the event unfold. Loved how quiet and serene it was.
