So back to the saga of the dodgy hand ….

Fingers crossed for a quick recovery and that this surgery actually makes a difference - no driving for 2 weeks is a @*+¥€!

Many thanks to Dr Daniel Brookes and vet students from for visiting and scanning our precious sheepy mamas.

A great opportunity to share what we do here at and to showcase this beautiful property and all it has to offer.

We felt very privileged to spend time with next generation of young vets, what a terrific group. We were excited to see what’s next for them.

Some great learnings for us, we are great believers in, when we stop learning, we might as well give it up- keep learning folks !

Lots of brain storming and some new and better way of doing things.

Great results too, heavy on the twins!

Here with her Mokopuna (grandchildren).

Not only is Naani the most beautiful Naani to her 5, she is a friend to many, highly respected, creative, clever and an inherently stylish individual, she is also my greatest confidant, mentor and advisor.

We ❤️ beef, especially when we know exactly where it’s comes from and how it’s been treated .

Starting a self-sustainable journey in Australia was not on my mind in my 20’s and 30’s. It was a totally distant, foreign concept despite the fact that I come from a family that has grown, fished and grazed their own food for generations. Something that was too hard and too unobtainable so it just got pushed to the back burner.

Now as life has evolved, I have almost done a 360 degree circle around, this process has started (or restarted, depending on how you look at it) and here we are.

It involves a shift from being a total consumer to a part-time producer through gradual, manageable steps.

Whether you are on a suburban block or a larger rural property, the focus is on reducing reliance on external systems for food, water, and energy.

Babysteps here… but thrilled and proud to be producing quality beef and being able to feed my family and friends.
