It’s with a heavy heart that I share that Soul Broths will no longer be operating.

This little business has been so much more than just broth for me - it’s been a journey of growth, healing, and connection. Through Soul Broths, I’ve met the most wonderful people and had the privilege of supporting myself and my kids while sharing something I truly believe in.

But life has taken a different path, and as much as I’ve loved making broth for all of you broth lovers, it’s time for me to let it go. I realized I was doing too many things and not doing any of them as well as they deserved. Soul Broths deserves more than that, and so do all of you. From now on, I’m committed to pouring my heart and soul into everything I do.

To everyone who supported Soul Broths, whether by buying my broth, selling my broth, offering tips, or cheering me on, I deeply thank you. Your kindness and encouragement have meant the world to me. A special thanks to you helped my business become something far bigger than I imagined and I am deeply grateful 😌✨

Bone Broth v Bone Broth Powder

I support anyone who is trying to include Bone Broth into their diet and these days there are so many products out there now which make it super accessible and convenient to get your broth on 🤘

Bone Broth Powder… What is it?
Bone Broth Powder is a protein powder that is mixed with hot water to make instant bone broth. It’s made by taking liquid bone broth and spray drying it into a powder by a process called agglomeration which “instantises” the powder and once you add hot water… wallah….! You have a convenient alternative to liquid bone broth.

I get it!
Bone Broth powder is cheaper and so much easier than making yourself…but is it as good?

Part of the BB cooking process is simmering the bones for 24 hours to extract the collagen and gelatin out. But once Bone broth is turned to a powder, it loses precious nutrients due to the processing temperatures, it no longer contains any gelatin and the taste can often be less desirable.

Some brands use harmful additives and preservatives, carcinogenic chemicals or GMO ingredients in Bone Broth Powder, none of which our homemade broth contains! 😉

Make sure you always read the ingredients carefully and that ‘bone broth’ is included in the list of ingredients when purchasing a bone broth powder. The quality of ingredients, how bones are sourced and protein and collagen content are all important!

Choosing how you broth may just come down to need and lifestyle!!??
Do you care more about convenience, flavour or nutritional value?

Tell us, how do you broth?

🧡 Your broth lady x
