A little surprise this week seeing Those Little Poffertjes featured in a local newspaper article about the new ScullyBug Cranbourne Farmers & Makers Market.
More than anything, it made me reflect on the people behind these events.
A huge thank you to the ScullyBug team for the passion, hard work and determination that goes into creating community spaces in areas that truly need them. It's wonderful to see local families, school friends, neighbours and community groups come together outside of the usual day-to-day routine.
Thank you also to the council for supporting events like these and providing opportunities for small businesses, makers, growers and food vendors. For many of us, events are more than a hobby – they're our livelihood. A full day of trade allows businesses like ours to continue doing what we love while contributing to local communities.
We're proud to be a small part of it and look forward to many more market days, coffee catch-ups, community conversations and of course, plenty of poffertjes.
