Another big weekend for Those Little Poffertjes — and on Sunday, we divide and conquer!

We’re starting Saturday at Trafalgar Farmers Market, 9am–1pm at McGregor Park.

Then Sunday sees both Those Little Poffertjes setups out and about at the same time.

For Father’s Day, Lloyd and Freja will be taking care of the marquee at Caulfield Foodcraft Market, Caulfield Racecourse Reserve from 9am–1pm. We’ve also donated two $30 Those Little Poffertjes vouchers to the Father’s Day raffle, so keep an eye out for those.

Meanwhile, the trailer will be heading to another new monthly home — Morwell Hotel for our first ScullyBug double there: Market from 9am–2pm, then Nite Bites from 4pm–8pm.

Two setups. Two parts of Victoria. One rather busy little poffertjes business.

And somewhere in the middle of all that, hopefully a few dads get thoroughly spoiled with hot poffertjes.

A new Friday night spot for Those Little Poffertjes!

This Friday will be our very first Soul Night Mordialloc — and not just a one-off. We’ll be joining them for the entire season, so Mordialloc, you’ll be seeing plenty more of us.

We’re kicking things off this Friday 4 September, 5pm–9pm at Peter Scullin Reserve.

It’s also a very good excuse to try our newest combination — Mixed Berries, White Hazelnut Spread & Cream — or stick with one of your usual favourites.

Come and say hello on our first night. We’re rather looking forward to making Mordialloc a regular monthly Friday night by the beach.

Thursday night is sorted.

We’re back at Nite Bites – Kingsway Reserve this Thursday, bringing the trailer into South Melbourne for another evening of hot little poffertjes.

Come past after work, grab some dinner from the food trucks and, naturally, leave room for dessert.

Some of you might remember Nico from Kinglake Market, where he spontaneously created our very own little Poffertjes song.

It still makes me smile, so I thought it was only fair that we return the favour and share what he’s up to.

Nico’s bringing The Flash Poetry Experience to The Improv Pit / Trainscendence in Collingwood this Friday, 4 September — an evening of freestyle rap, poetry, storytelling, philosophy and live musical improvisation. And judging by what he managed to come up with standing in front of a poffertjes trailer, I suspect no two performances are ever quite the same.

This weekend Those Little Poffertjes are putting some kilometres on the clock!

Saturday 29 August is a THREE market day, with the trailer and marquee heading in different directions so we can be in three places at once.

Mirboo North Market
8.30am – 1pm

ScullyBug Markets - Cranbourne Farmers & Makers Market
9am – 2pm

ScullyBug Markets - Nite Bites Cranbourne
4pm – 8.30pm

Then on Sunday 30 August, we’re heading back to Millgrove Market from 10am – 2pm.

And our newest combination will be coming along for the ride — Mixed Berries, White Chocolate & Cream has officially joined the Pick Your Own menu.

Three events Saturday, another on Sunday, two setups and a whole lot of little Dutch pancakes. This should be fun.
