21ST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION • ESSENDON 🎉🥘❤️

What a fantastic night celebrating a very special 21st birthday in Essendon this August!

It was a pleasure to be welcomed into the home by Tanya and her family, and to cook for their guests as they came together to celebrate such an important milestone.

We brought the gold-standard paella experience straight to the backyard, cooking everything fresh on site and creating a feast that became part of the celebration.

🥘 Seafood Paella — packed with fresh seafood and incredible flavour.

🔥 Chicken & Chorizo Paella — smoky, hearty and full of Spanish character.

There’s something special about cooking paella in front of your guests. The aromas, the huge pans, the colours and the anticipation all become part of the experience — and then everyone gets to sit down, share the food and enjoy each other’s company.

A huge thank you to Tanya for the wonderful hospitality and for welcoming me into your home. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of your family’s celebration.

FIESTA DAY AT SWINBURNE UNIVERSITY CROYDON 🇪🇸❤️

What a fantastic day cooking a huge paella feast for Fiesta Day at Swinburne University Croydon Campus!

It was a wonderful Fiesta celebration of culture, inclusion and community, bringing together students, tradespeople, staff and the wider community. People from different backgrounds — including Chinese, Indian, Australian and many more — came together around great food and good conversation.

What made the day so special was seeing the connection between hands-on trades, technology, education and the broader multicultural community. Days like this show how a university campus can bring people from all walks of life together, creating an environment where everyone feels welcome and included.

And of course, there was plenty of freshly cooked paella, shared with a lot of smiles! 🥘🙌

A huge thank you to Joseph from the Swinburne Association for looking after all the logistics and making the day run so smoothly. Your support was greatly appreciated.

It was an absolute pleasure to be part of such a positive and inclusive Fiesta celebration.

250 PEOPLE. HUGE PAELLAS. ONE BIG CELEBRATION! 🇪🇸❤️

What an amazing day cooking for Fiesta Cultural Day at Swinburne University Wantirna!

We had the pleasure of preparing a huge paella feast for around 250 people — but the best part wasn’t just the food.

It was seeing people from different backgrounds come together, share a meal, have a laugh and celebrate culture and community. 🙌

That’s what we love about cooking. Food brings people together. It starts conversations, creates memories and gives everyone a reason to gather around the table.

From the first stir of the paella to the final plate, it was an incredible day and we’re so grateful to everyone at Swinburne University Wantirna who made it possible.

A huge thank you to everyone who came, ate, celebrated and helped make the day special. ❤️
