Pasta and wine is a duo we celebrate at Allegria – and we’re introducing some of our favourite bottles to Melbourne this Friday, August 28 from 4–6pm with a free wine tasting at Malvern Central thanks to our friends at VITICULT

On the night, the team will be pouring and swirling wines from two of our favourite labels: Adelaide’s Giovanni Armani Giorgio and Ephemera Wines from Yarra Valley.

Swing by for a sip, stay for a glass and a bowl of pasta, leave with a bottle to enjoy at home. 🍷🍷🍷

SPICY VODKA PASTA IS HERE. To celebrate the launch of our saucy new addition, we’re hosting a party with the spice experts at Thousand Apologies this Saturday, August 22 from 10am at Malvern Central. 

🌶️ $14 bowls of spicy vodka fusilli drizzled with Thousand Apologies hot sauce
🌶️ Buy a bowl of pasta and a bottle of hot sauce for $27.
🌶️ Thousand Apologies’ full range of hot sauce will be available to try and buy – ranging from mild (Finger Lime x Jalapeno) to wild (Desert Lime x Carolina).

🐷 Puopolo Artisan Salumi - Saturday, August 15 🐷 Charlie from Puopolo Artisan Salumi – makers of authentic Italian salumi since 1978 – will be slicing and dicing his famed slow-cured meats and handing out tastings from 10am.

🌶️ Thousand Apologies – Saturday, August 22 🌶️ The Melbourne hot sauce company will be pouring samples of their award-winning sauces made with native Australian ingredients. Try the Finger Lime Jalapeno, Davidson Habanero and Blood Lime Scorpion – if you dare.

🍷 Viticult - Friday, August 28 🍷Our fellow wine-lovers at Viticult – distributors of small, independent producers – are taking over the store to pour tastes of their favourite drops from 4-6pm. Find something you like? You can buy a bottle (or two) to take home and enjoy over a leisurely bowl of pasta.

We take our (little) hats off to them. Our talented chefs take the time to delicately and precisely hand-roll, stuff and fold every parcel of pasta at Allegria.
