CWH FEELS ALIVE
we opened about five weeks ago; thank you to everyone we have seen at our tables. You have breathed life into it.

after about a year of work, it is amazing to see CWH HAPPENING.

thanks to our amazing team, who stay late to hang, figure things out with us, laugh, open difficult wine bottles with difficult corks...

we are so grateful.

The 2026 harvest feels like a lifetime ago.

If you swing through the winery (), you'll notice all our barrels stacked up. That's what we made this year.

This is us playing with some Fiano. A tiny amount – one barrel. Fermented on skins for around two weeks. No adds. Only grapes.

The Fiano barrel is sitting right at the tippy top of our barrel stack. It's got a strange drawing of a flying crocodile that Mat drew on it. Go give it some good juju.

"Harmony" was our mantra for our 2024 vintage.

Matt highlights that winemaking is meditation, something to be in flow with.

This made the Wā.

The first photo is the harmony just before we pick. We tried to honour that, and it was a good reminder to find poise inside the flow of harvest.

In Japan, "wa" is a concept that means harmony, or peace.

So, it's what we named our 2024 'wā' Grenache.
