An amazing hack to transform your ice cream plus your last chance to win a KitchenAid mixer with an ice cream maker!  

HACK #3: Leave the lid OFF when you freeze it! 
Snap freeze = smaller crystals = smoother texture. 
Put the lid on once it’s solid. 
 
 Try this mouth-watering mango sorbet recipe: 🥭

In a blender add:
1. 2 fresh mangoes (500g – preferably Kensington Pride mangoes because of the perfect balance of sweetness with acidity) plus half a cup of water . Blend until smooth;
2. Mix dry powders together – 2/3 cup of caster sugar (125g) + 1/8 tsp of each of guar gum and xanthan gum from the health food shop (for mouthfeel and melting resistance)
3. Add to the mango mix and combine with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Mix until sugar is dissolved.
4. Taste to see if more lemon juice is needed.
5. Chill in the fridge before churning to ensure the churn can freeze as quickly as possible
6. Churn in a KitchenAid pre-frozen ice cream bowl according to the instructions in the video.

Does your ice cream have more calcium and protein than regular milk?

Elato has more calcium per serve and almost double the protein of regular milk per serve, plus similar calcium and protein levels to most yoghurts. Yes, Elato has more fat and sugar, but a serving of Elato contains only 10g of sugar and fits within WHO guidelines of consuming up to 25g of sugar per day. No wonder it’s Australia’s best supermarket vanilla ice cream!

Exciting changes for Elato
Four years ago, we started making ice cream with a mission: to create delicious products that also do good.

Today, we're excited to share that Elato has been acquired by Pure Foods Tasmania, merging with their Ice Cream Division alongside Cashew Creamery.
Here's what you need to know:
• Your favourite Elato flavours will continue
• Four cents from every tub STILL goes to OzHarvest
• We're moving production to Tasmania and creating new jobs
• World-first products are already in development

This is validation that doing business with purpose matters not only to you, our customers, but also to companies like Pure Foods Tasmania who share our values.
