The Bellarine is about to burst into colour again… and we want YOU to be part of it! The Great Australian Scarecrow Competition returns for its 7th year — and this is your invitation to join the fun, get creative and help fill the region with larger-than-life characters.

Whether you’re crafty, quirky, artistic or just up for a laugh, build a scarecrow and proudly pop it in place. Soon enough, the highway will be lined with imagination, creativity and pure Bellarine personality.

It’s Time to Stuff, Stitch and Create! The 7th Annual Great Australian Scarecrow Competition is officially open for entries.

Funny, fierce, fabulous or freaky — whatever your style, we want to see your scarecrow standing proud.

While our orchard friends are busy ripening those juicy apples and pears for Flying Brick Cider, the birds are circling… and that’s where your scarecrow comes in! Let’s fill the region (and the highway!) with a parade of weird and wonderful characters.

Prizes are up for grabs — and bragging rights too!
And yes… there are fantastic prizes up for grabs!
