This week we’re fortunate to have Chef Hamish share his Grandfather Chris Doutre’s recipes with us. Hamish was lucky enough to spend 6 years living with his Grandfather and in this time learnt the secrets to his infamous recipes.⁠⁠

Chris was born in India and moved to Australia in 1980, bringing his impressive knowledge, talent and long association with North Indian cuisine. He soon established a popular restaurant in Brisbane called Scherhazade, bringing some of the first tandoor ovens to Australia for commercial use. He then later founded the popular ‘Passage to India’ simmer sauces which are still sold around the country today.⁠⁠

We are pleased to be offering customers a new Art of Dining In experience with an emphasis on fresh regional produce in a more relaxed format.⁠ ⁠

To help ease the latest lockdown we have curated dinner packages for two people that you can enjoy at home for pick up or delivery Peninsula-wide on Saturday from 12 - 5pm. Orders must be placed by 6pm Friday. ⁠

This weekend will be our last for Home Dining as our restaurant reopens on 12 November.

Launched 5 days after closing in March, our Home Dining service has meant we have continued to connect with our community and customers through two lockdowns, in an extraordinary and difficult year for everyone.

We would like to thank everybody who has ordered from us. You have helped to support our staff and business. We are eternally grateful and cannot wait to see everyone back in our restaurant very soon.
