Miss Florence Cafe and Restaurant

A quaint little restaurant down in the town, asked to make sure they had gravy and told the sauce is sufficient, they were right gravy would have ruined it.

The chicken was lovely, soft and moist, the sauce as mentioned above was plentiful and great texture. Could have done with more season/spice as was a little bland but plenty of it.

The cheese was not grilled brown and a bit sparse but it worked well and tasted good

Chips were thin cut French fry type with herbs so worked well.

The salad was only lettuce leaves, could have done with more variety in it but overall tasted nice, just only leaves ruined it.

Not bad for $25, support your local restaurants

Nice Parmi, the chicken was nice and tender with plenty of flavour. The sauce was with a good spice but there was plenty of it.

The salad was a good one that did not over power the rest of the meal.

Chips were greats but unfortunately not many of them.

Loose points for having to buy a $4 gravy

Not to bad, but once again loose points NO GRAVY!!

Parmi was nicely grilled and stayed together (cheese and ham did it detach from the chicken. Sauce was nothing special flovour wise but did the job and the chicken was moist and light.

Chips and salad was a disappointment. They were to thin and had no seasoning but fried well and decent

Salad was a disappointment, to much leaf with only minimal tomatooes andd cucumber, dressing was also plain

Not too bad, it’s a nice restaurant with great service and friendly staff.

They had a cheaper Parmi for lunch special for $16 but we don’t for that here are PRtW so full price it is.

Not bad overall but as usual it’s missing that attention to detail most pubs do with Parmi’s

The chips were good and crunchy, with a nice seasoning.

The chicken itself had a good crumb that stayed on the meat and was seasoned well. Issue was with the cheese, it’s not grilled nice and brown which is the way it should be. But overall good

The salad was simple and came out of a bag, you can tell so you loose pointsts for that,. to much lemon dressings and the dressing was simple, no flair.

Another major bug bear is having to purchase gravy because it’s not standard and it’s being labeled on the menu as “extra” gravy. Considering there was none to begin with hate it being called “extra”, as well it’s never enough. STOP BEING STINGY WITH GRAVY! But it was good gravy with nice texture and consistency.

So overall not bad, but missed out on a higher score, more attention to detail is required

The chicken was a good portion and moist and easy to eat, unfortunately the cheese separated from the Snitz and was not well grilled, also the sauce was non existent.

Chips and gravy were good but not spectacular.

The salad was a coleslaw which added to the flavours as it had a lot of sauce quality to it.

Overall not to bad but needs more attention to detail, the cheese must be grilled more and better prepared to prevent separation from the snitz

So the Chicken Schnitzel get an honourable mention here at Parmi Round the World

This one was ok, chicken was spiced well and came with gravy. Moist and good size but nothing special.

Chips were not that good, to thin and small so hard to get onto the fork

Salad was coleslaw so not to bad but nothing special

Serious points lost though, if you have a Schitzel on the menu but no Parmi then that is a massive party foul in my book.

Big meal, large piece of chicken so points there.

Meal was lacking a few attention to
details, cheese was not fully melted and the sauce was nothing special. Neither was the chicken, not crunchy and although big was not really juicy in the middle. Ham was not very special so was not tasted.

The chips were too crunchy to place on the fork so was hard to load up so could not get the full experience. The salad was ok but simple.

Not much gravy, they need to give you a lot more for such a plate, that and it also could
have more flavour. Just got it over the line by potion size.

Not bad. Chips were super crunchy with right amount of salt, salad was rocket with a subtle dressing and feta cheese.

The parmie was spiced with just the right amount of tang, crunchy but not over cooked. The crumb never detached while eating and it was tender and juicy. Good choice of ham (not strong brine) with a sauce that gave flavour and stick but not drowning the schnitzel. The cheese a good combination, not oily and stretchy

Downside was no gravy as standard, so loose points there and the topping did not cover the whole schnitzel.
