Finals Fever is here and to celebrate one of our most popular events is back this Thursday night with a special Footy Finals edition Pot Run!

Don your footy colours and meet at Near & Far at 6.30pm for a leisurely 5km run with two pub pit stops along the way for a rejuvenating pot! Then it’s back to Near & Far to drink some of the tasty lineup of 18 beers on tap at half price and watch the Freo v Hawks final live from Perth!

We’ll be running a brand new route, designed just for this Pot Run with two great beer stops on the way. This route is a closely guarded secret so the only way to find out is to join us on Thursday 😉

ChickyBoi will also be slinging Melbourne’s best fried chicken to refuel in the bar after the run.

If you can’t make it this week then all is not lost as Near & Far Run Club meets every Thursday at 6.30pm, and there will no doubt be another Pot Run scheduled over the coming months too 🏃 🏃‍♂️

After a bit of a quieter spell at Near & Far we’re restarting our beer event calendar and plan to make them monthly again. So all you craft beer lovers out there come out and show your support so we can keep the wonderful world of beers flowing for you!

Pot Run is back this week! Join us for our Winter Apres themed edition on Thursday night, as our thirsty Run Club members embark on a leisurely 5km run in Fitzroy and surrounds, with a couple of stops at local pubs along the way for a sneaky pot!!

Everyone is welcome to join whether you’ve been to our regular Run Club before or not. We start from Near & Far at 6.30pm and return there after for half price beer with the footy on the big screen, and ChickyBoi burgers for those post run munchies.

Apres ski wear and glow sticks strongly encouraged! See you Thursday! 🍻 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️

We’re kicking off the 2026 World Cup with a bang at Near & Far with the huge clash between Australia and Turkiye live at 2pm next Sunday arvo. For just $30 you’ll get a Pint of Lager or Pale on arrival, and you’ll beat the lineup with a Chickyboi OG Sandwich delivered to your table at half time.

Pint of Origin is done and winter is here so let’s chug some British beers at ye ole Near & Far!

Starting on Friday we’ll have a fresh lineup of brews from only the UK’s best craft breweries filling our taps including Liverpool’s for the first time, Manchester’s , out of Cornwall, Liverpool’s , from the south and Scottish sour beer maestros

Plus there’s a couple of epic collabs on show with Cloudwater X getting their haze on, and Vault City X going smoothie sour crazy!

It’s a long weekend and it’s gonna be proper wet and cold reminiscent of Ole Blimey, so what better way to spend it than downing some pints with us!

Pot Run returned with a vengeance for Pint of Origin last Thursday! Never has it seemed more appropriate to interrupt our 5km run with a couple of beers at venues, with and welcoming us this year!

Run Club resumes regularly proceedings tomorrow night at 6.30pm with half price beers for every runner when we get back. Get involved! 🏃 🍻

Fresh kegs on for final weekend of Pint Of Origin Adelaide and we’ve doubled the Frog Cake!

That’s right, we’ve added a rebrew of the Choccy Frog Cake Stout we created for last year’s festival to this year’s Pink Frog Cake Oat Cream IPA 🐸

There’s something for everyone with 18 taps of Adelaide’s best craft beer on tap. And there’s nothing better than fried chicken with beer so grab yourself a .au sanga while you’re at it tonight or for lunch tomorrow!

Pot Run is back tomorrow night with a special Pint of Origin edition of our Thursday night Run Club!

Meet at Near & Far at 6.30pm for a leisurely 5km run with two pit stops along the way at our fellow Pint of Origin venues for a refreshing pot! Then it’s back to Near & Far to drink some of the fantastic lineup of Adelaide beers at half price and refuel with Melbourne’s best fried chicken from .au !

As always the route is a closely guarded secret, so you’ll have to come along to find out 😉

If you can’t make it tonight then never fear as we’ve got plenty more Adelaide beers to drink over the weekend!

And if it’s a fun group run that you’re after then Near & Far Run Club meets every Thursday at 6.30pm, with the next Pot Run in July sometime so stay tuned 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️🍻
