At first, we opened CWH as a 35-seater bar, with the goal of being connected and for others to connect, while enjoying good natural w**es.

And after eight years living in Europe, we wanted to bring that simple humanness: being in the sun, on the street, in the elements, in the neighbourhood.

We wanted to let it define itself, and walk with it, post on here enough to stay connected, but not too much.
And welcome CWH as a safe place to be human. 

We have run more than walk, made some mistakes, and have been overwhelmed by the good vibes.

Thanks for defining this beautiful world with us,

"On the banks of the Merri Creek in Northcote, it smells like community spirit at the aptly named Community W**e House, a local w**e label’s new bar and gathering place...even in August, this is a glorious place to be as the sun goes down. Dappled light dances on the building’s exterior, filtered through eucalyptus trees on the creek’s edge." ~ Good Food
