BREWERY OF THE WEEK - Mornington Peninsula

This week’s feature brewery is located one hour from Melbourne, Victoria. The Mornington Peninsula Brewery is only a stones throw away from the Esplanade and the main front beach making it a perfect stop before or after you have received your daily dose of vitamin D.

The relaxing beer garden is perfect for those blissful summer days and great seating indoors caters for those windy winter nights. The brewery typically has six beers on tap and features live music every Sunday to keep you entertained while you are sinking some of its delicious craft beer. The recent awards won by Mornington Peninsula Brewery at the Australian International Beer Awards show that it is a brewery on the rise; winning Gold for their ‘Brown’ and ‘Imperial Stout’ craft beers.

BREWERY OF THE WEEK - Coldstream Brewery

It was only logical to add a brewery/bar/restaurant to the mix. Prime real estate surrounded by Victoria’s most famous wine region, Coldstream brewery is located in the heart of the Yarra Valley.

The brewery opened its doors in 2007 serving the Czech Pilsner, featured in Choose Your Booze “The Top Shelf” sample pack, and their iconic original apple cider which will definitely be featured in the future. Since then they have created several handcraft brews that include the;

- Coldstream Original Ale (4.8)%
- Coldstream Grand Porter (4.8%)
- Coldstream Crisp Pale Ale (4.6%)
