The photos sent to us after Tapau From Home— makan sessions at home, families around the table, friends coming together, and Singapore flags making their way into homes across Australia.
And honestly, this is what we hoped Tapau From Home could be.
From the feedback we received, many told us that the event gave them a reason to finally invite friends and family over. For some, it was a reason to come together to celebrate. For others, it was simply a reason to put the phones down, sit around a table, and spend some proper time together despite everyone’s busy schedules.
Because sometimes, all it takes is food to get people in the same room.
Food connects. It brings people together, creates reasons to gather, and makes a place feel a little more like home.
2,200+ dishes. Six cities. So many tables, stories and memories.
