Wine Victoria is the peak body representing the Victorian wine industry.

Wine Victoria was formed in late 2011 as the successor to the Victorian Wine Industry Association. As the peak body representing the Victorian wine industry our main aim is to advocate to the Victorian government, responding to the issues that impact our members. Where appropriate the association also supports the Winemakers Federation of Australia at a national level.

Wine Victoria CEO Stephanie Duboudin recently joined renowned Canadian wine experts John Szabo, MS and Sara d'Amato on the D’Amato & Szabo: Wine Thieves podcast to explore the people, places and stories behind one of Australia’s most diverse wine-producing states.

From the Yarra Valley and Pinot Coast to the Goldfields, Rutherglen and King Valley, Steph takes listeners through Victoria’s five signature wine destinations, exploring the regional identities, varieties and family histories that have shaped our 21 wine regions and 800+ producers.

Drawing on more than 25 years in the international wine industry, Steph also shares her perspective on Victoria’s place in the global wine landscape and what makes our wines distinctive.

The Australian Women in Wine National Symposium returns this September, bringing together women from across the wine industry for a day of learning, connection and professional development.

Under this year’s theme, Rising Together – Shaping What Comes Next, the 2026 Symposium will explore stronger leadership pathways, more inclusive workplaces and the long-term sustainability of our industry through four key pillars: Evolve, Adapt, Collaborate and Challenge.

A new opportunity for Victoria’s regional wine communities is here!

Expressions of Interest are now open for Wine Victoria’s new Regional Wellbeing & Connection Fund, supporting locally led activities that bring people together and strengthen connections across our wine regions.

The idea is simple: create an opportunity for your wine community to connect. Whether it’s a BBQ, dinner, sporting day, social gathering, or an engaging speaker – if it brings your local wine community together, we want to hear about it.

Expressions of Interest are now open for Victorian wineries to participate in a new collaboration with Wine Gallery, one of China's leading wine retailers on RedNote (Xiaohongshu).

Supported by Wine Victoria in partnership with Global Victoria, the fully funded campaign will help selected wineries increase brand visibility, connect with Chinese consumers and generate sales through one of China's fastest-growing social commerce platforms.

Wine Victoria, with the support of Global Victoria, is inviting expressions of interest from Victorian wineries to participate in two trade events in and this October.

Each event will feature a masterclass and trade tasting, connecting Victorian wineries with Canadian importers, liquor board buyers, retailers and on-premise decision-makers.

Meet the industry leaders helping shape the future of Victorian wine 🍷 Wine Victoria has established two new advisory groups to support the delivery of the Victorian Wine Strategy 2025–2030, bringing together representatives from across Victoria’s wine industry.

🌱 People & Community Advisory Group: Mel Chester (Chair), Ben Hine, Lucy Etheridge, Lucy Adam, Erin Whitear, Brendan Hawker, Nancy Panter and Callie Jemmeson.

🌱 Visitor Experience Advisory Group: Katherine Brown (Chair), Lucy Black, Sara Grounds, Steven Paul, Rory Lane, Rowly Milhinch and Vanessa Papadimitriou.

Together, these groups will help guide two key priority areas of the Strategy, providing industry expertise and practical advice to support its delivery. A fantastic day at the Drink Victorian Trade Tasting, bringing together 240 Victorian producers from across wine, spirits, beer, cider and no/low alcohol beverages to showcase the best of Victoria's drinks industry.

More than 1,200 trade professionals attended to discover new products, reconnect with producers and experience the incredible diversity of Victorian beverages.

It was great to welcome Minister for Agriculture Michaela Settle, who met with producers throughout the day, and we thank Agriculture Victoria for its continued support of the event.

As a proud member of the Drinks Alliance, Wine Victoria was pleased to support another successful Drink Victoria Trade Tasting. Congratulations to Food & Drink Victoria and all partners involved in delivering such a valuable event for the industry 🍷🥂

Minister for Agriculture Michaela Settle MP recently visited Wine Victoria Board member Katherine Brown and Ross Brown at Brown Family Wine Group to view the new cellar door development in Milawa.

The visit also included a celebration with King Valley Prosecco producers Dal Zotto Wines, Pizzini Wines and Cavallini Wines, recognising the importance of Prosecco production to the King Valley and the opportunities it creates for regional Victorian wine businesses 🥂
