‘Idillio’ is the great unsung hero of Terre Stregate (and our portfolio). Aglianico from the rolling volcanic hills of Benevento, with a softer more amiable side.

Vibrant blue berries, purple florals, mineral freshness, fine tannins and cracked white pepper to the fore.

Unadorned Aglianico, and all the better for it. Flat-out delicious.

In the early 2010s Tommaso convinced his Nonno to let him rejuvenate the vineyards of his family’s estate, adjacent to the Castello built in 1441 and kept in the same family since.
