A little reminder before I finalise Friday’s Food Drop 🇫🇷🦆

This week we have Tarte au confit de canard – buttery pastry filled with confit duck and creamy potatoes, with marinated chickpeas & fennel and fresh bread.

And for dessert: frozen strawberry parfait with a buttery biscuit base and strawberry coulis. 🍓

If this one has your name on it, ordering sooner rather than later is the safest bet. I’ll happily squeeze in late orders when I can, but everything is made in limited quantities.

🐔 POULET À LA PROVENÇALE – $29
Chicken braised with tomato, olives, garlic and Provençal herbs, served with creamy polenta, spring greens and fresh bread.

🍰 BISCOFF CHEESECAKE – $12
Creamy Biscoff cheesecake with salted caramel.

Just a little shout out to one of our longest lasting galettes....

The Smoky Goat has been on our menu for years and we never get tired of it! With Meredith Dairy goats cheese, free-range chorizo from Peter Boucher, cherry tomatoes and fresh rocket, it's delicious even before we add the star ingredient - our house made chilli jam. Oh, and last but not least, the buckwheat galette itself - buttery, crispy and flavourful, made with Australian buckwheat and a very French recipe.

Bring Dad and the family for French crêpes, galettes and great coffee. We’re kid-friendly, accessible, and just near the Darebin Creek Trail if you fancy a walk or bike ride before or after. The perfect way to celebrate all the Dads (and the solo mum's taking on both roles)!

Our first Food Drop for spring is this Friday 4 September, and if you’ve been thinking about ordering, now’s the time to get yours in.

French Friday Food Drop returns on Friday 4 September, and we’re giving you plenty of notice this time.

Our first Food Drop for spring is vegetarian and delicious!

🍄 Portobello à l’orange – $29

A little update from us 👋

Like many small hospitality businesses, the cost of opening our doors each day continues to rise. At the same time, our catering and events side is growing, so we’ve decided to concentrate our warehouse opening hours into the busiest part of the week.

From this week, we’ll be open:

Friday 9am–2pm
Saturday 9am–2pm
Sunday 9am–2pm

We’ll now be closed Wednesdays and Thursdays, giving us more time during the week to focus on catering, events and our very exciting new little food truck.

We’ve also reduced the number of tables in the warehouse, so bookings are recommended — especially on weekends.

Same crêpes, same warehouse, just a little more concentrated into the weekend 🖤

Pre-order your Friday night meal and collect it from the warehouse between 5pm and 6pm.

Last week's Food Drop didn't go ahead, so we're giving this delicious menu another chance.

This week's menu has been curated by our friend Lucie, who recently moved to Edinburgh but wanted to show her support for Little Yarra Crêperie from afar.

To celebrate, Lucie has generously gifted Lucie's French Friday Prize Pack.

Every order placed for this week's French Friday Food Drop is automatically entered into the draw to win:
• A Little Yarra Crêperie cooler bag.
• A voucher for two mains, two desserts and two side salads at a future French Friday Food Drop (feeds 2).

Total prize value: $133.

Main
Hachis Parmentier – slow-cooked beef and vegetables, topped with creamy potato mash and Gruyère, baked until golden and served with fresh bread.

Dessert
Tarte Tropézienne – a light brioche filled with vanilla crème légère and finished with pearl sugar.
