Joining us at this Friday for our Halloween special at we welcome PLAYSTAR 5 to kick things off 🎪

Improvisation. Chaos. Lock the f**k in.

Playstar 5 is a shape-shifting band led by drummer and Moor Music director . With a rotating cast of Melbourne’s finest jazz, soul, and experimental players, the band creates 100% improvised music, built live in the moment—no charts, no safety nets.

From modal jazz to deathcore, deep funk to bleak ambience, Playstar 5 follows the energy of the room—and sometimes ignores it entirely. It’s raw, emotional, and wildly unpredictable.

Born in house parties, pit raves, and chaotic backyards, the more unhinged the setting, the better. The core lineup features drums, sax, keys, bass, guitar, and occasional vocals, with surprise guests always welcome.

This isn’t friendly jazz. Its connection, surrender, and sonic ritual. For the people. For the moment.

Joining us for this Halloween, for the opening weekend of we welcome the power duo from Hell 🎪

Born in the back end of 2021 Cam Tonkin and Sonny Puglisi collectively form No News. Fitting under analog
electronic, we create a fusion of contemporary jazz and dance music, shifting fluidly across energies and
tempos.

Our live shows are genre-fluid experiences, working through house, breakbeat, synth-driven jams, hyperpop, and liquid drum and bass.

We draw inspiration from artists like LTJ Bukem, A.G. Cook, BadBadNotGood, and jazz-influenced
jungle and house of the ’90s. With contagious energy and versatility, No News brings expressive, genre-
blending performances that celebrate our artistic identities and friendship on stage. We love playing music — and we’re not afraid to show it.

We’ve been watching the place get built for the last few months and are honoured to be invited to host jaffles here for the opening weekend, it’s gonna be lush, the views are bliss, and the vibes well, your just gonna have to come and see, may be the perfect pairing, pop up spiegel tents, multiple level entertainment space, food, drinks, magic and more, keen. 🎪
