Let's hear from one of our dedicated Forklift drivers, Ross, about his history with beer (and mead!) and what he thinks the industry can benefit from.
🍺What was your previous brewing/distilling experience🍺
Zero, but I do have a bit of experience in beekeeping,15 years or so… and in that time I tried plenty of terrible mead, haha.
🍺Why did you choose the brewing/distilling industry?🍺
I like beer. After stealing the very descriptive terms on beer labels to help me describe honey to people in the shop and supplying beeswax to a brewer looking to seal their barrels, my interest grew, and I decided to take on a new industry. (Shout out bojak)
🍺What would you like to see more of in the brewing/distilling industry?🍺
More detailed labelling of ingredients, really spell it out for the nerds who want to know all the deets
🍺If your colleagues had to name a beer after you, what would it be called?🍺
A Honey Oat Cream IPA: Bees Knees 2
🍺What’s something about brewing/distilling you wish more people knew?🍺
I hope more people know the importance of getting a fresh brew, how the quality is better when you're as close as you can get to the brewery, and how much effort goes into every drop.
