Even with their Sunday Rotisserie offering on, .melb's regular menu is still available to order from. Looved the flatbread with its crisp yet chewy texture - definitely a must-order.

//

- Za'atar flatbread, labneh, hot honey, soft herbs
- Spiced lamb & pinenut lakumbagine empanada's, tahini yoghurt
- Basque cheesecake, coffee cream + rosewater almonds

.melb's menu has a "Lebo-terranean" (Middle Eastern and Mediterranean) flair, and it shows up in their Sunday Rotisserie offering too. It's a choice of either roast beef or crackling pork, with all the trimmings - halloumi and nigella Yorkshire pudding, caponata, seasonal balela salad, and triple cooked potato, for $29.90. This is not your dry Sunday Roast, nor a typical one. It's a generous serve of tender meat that's perfectly seasoned - and that wonderfully crunchy potato 😋! Great value for a Sunday feed.

Thinking back to our visit to where we experienced a journey of flavours from across Asia. There was their popular wok-fried Chilli Crab Egg Noodle, the very decadent Pork Jowl (paired perfectly with kohlrabi kimchi and a green shiso verde), and the Warm Silken Tofu, which had a touch of sweetness, and was topped with a flavoursome leek furikake.

//

- Wok-fried Chilli Crab Egg Noodle - Spanner crab meat, tobiko, chive, crispy egg
- Warm Silken Tofu - Brown butter soy, leek furikake
- Grilled Pork Jowl - Kohlrabi kimchi, green shiso verde, umeboshi glaze

On Fridays and Saturdays from 10pm-12am, Lexy runs a Late Night Bar Experience, perfect for a night cap after a night out, or for an extra bite if you're still feeling peckish after dinner.

On the drinks menu are two Late Night Edition Cocktails (Fire and Ice), which are only available at this time, and their other regular offerings including whiskey or sake flights.

The zero-waste philosophy at the bar means there are creative inclusions of unused ingredients from the kitchen. Our Ice cocktail for the day included coconut, adzuki, vanilla, banana and rum, all combined into a nitro ice-cream, which eventually became a creamy drink as it melted (delicious in both forms!).

The warm Fire cocktail had sake and other smokey ingredients, topped with a sesame crisp and blazed at the table, the heat blending and transforming the flavours into something unique. It'll be particularly suitable for the colder weather that's on the way.

The Late Night snack menu is designed for sharing. The Fries were so good, as were the Prawn & Scallop Dumplings. There was a pretty decent serve of Crispy Chicken Bites, which came with a delicious togarashi mayo. Other options include cassava crackers with yuzu miso mascarpone, and also caviar if you're feeling up for something fancy.

Overall a very fun and thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Late Night Snacks
🥟 Prawn & Scallops Dumpling – Chive Pesto, Cashew, Snow Pea Tendril
🍗 Crispy Chicken Bites – Togarashi Mayo, Gochujang Glaze, Curry Aioli
🍟 Just Fries – Mentaiko Mayo

Of course we had to try ’s signature Roasted Duck Thai Coconut Red Curry. I'm not a fan of sweet mains and thankfully this was not! Even with the inclusion of grapes and lychee, the curry sauce wasn't that sweet, and instead packed quite a spicy punch. Both the Wagyu Flank and Pork Belly were handled well. The seasoning on the beef, especially with the galangal jaew, and the unctuous texture of the wagyu made it worth the extra.

We were quite impressed with the food at Cha Ching! The Feed Me Now menu was great value, and a nice way to explore their menu.

//

- Thai Coconut Red Curry - Roasted Duck, Coconut Milk, Lychee, Cherry Tomatoes, Basil, Grapes
- Aus Wagyu Flank MB8+ - Nam Tok, Coconut Meat, Galangal Jaew, Toasted Rice Powder
 - Five Spice Crispy Pork Belly - Chilli Caramel, Aged Black Vinegar, Spicy Green Apple Slaw

has big pan-Asian flavours, a vibrant interior, and a few different ways to experience their menu!

We partook in their Feed Me Now option for a very reasonable $49.90 per person for lunch ($54.90 for dinner). Two people receive two starters, two mains and one side of their choice to share, and every additional party member means you can select another entree, main and side.

The highlight of our starters was the torched wagyu beef tartare, accompanied by rice paper which are surprisingly not too oily. Loved the smokey flavours. The salmon nori bites are also very good - packed with flavour - and their fun wagyu cheeseburger spring rolls come with a delicious cheddar cheese dip.

//

- Torched Wagyu Beef Tartare - Black Truffle Mayo, Green Apple, Chives, Egg Yolk, Crispy Rice Paper
- Salmon Nori Bites - Gochujang, Pickled Ginger, Fingerlime, Japanese Mayo
- Wagyu Cheeseburger Spring Rolls - Lettuce, Pickled Cucumber, Cheddar Cheese Dip

Newcomer, Almost French Epicure, is the little sister to . The vision is to be a sanctuary where you can slow down to enjoy coffee, pastries and cakes, cheese, charcuterie and wine. Food is made fresh daily using quality produce, but still at accessible prices.

There's even a little section where you can find chocolates, lollies and other French snacks!

Coffee is from Axil, and is a finalist (and the only Victorian cafe left in the running) for Best New Cafe at the upcoming Coffee Heroes Awards.

It comes from the mind of Alex Charasse, a maître pâtissier and maître chocolatier. He has decades of global experience including Michelin-starred venues, and locally with venues such as Vue de Monde, The Windsor, and Grossi Florentino.

The space delivers. It's a relaxing, comfortable place to visit. Of the savouries, my favourite is the Prosciutto Baguette - great bread and a classic combination of ingredients that doesn't disappoint.

We also loved the Almond Croissant, which was crisp and had a delicious filling that was not too sweet, the Lemon Tart, with its beautifully flavoured lemon curd, and also the Macarons, which possessed a great chew. There were so many tempting items that it was hard to choose, so another visit may be in order.

Would recommend, whether it's for coffee, sweets, or savouries during the day, or perhaps a bit of cheese and wine around dinner time.

//

- Prosciutto Baguette - Freshly baked baguette filled with butter, salad, tomatoes, prosciutto, bocconcini, and mixed herbs
- Spinach Salmon Quiche - Traditional savoury quiche filled with fresh spinach, smoked salmon, egg
- Cracked Pepper and Beef Pie - Tender beef in a rich pepper sauce, wrapped in a flaky pastry crust
- Plain croissant
- Almond croissant
- Lemon meringue tart - Sorrento lemon curd, Italian meringue
- Macarons - Pistachio, Salted caramel
- Millefeuille - Inverted French pastry layered with freshly made crème pâtissière, topped with fondant

Our meal at ended with a moist almond lemon torte, with limoncello poured over the top, and also one of the better tiramisus I've had of late!

Highly recommend a visit, especially if you're keen to try the different things that Italian cuisine has to offer.

//

- Caprese - Made with warm almond lemon torte with lemon cream and affogato with limoncello
- Tiramisu - Made with coffee soaked ladyfingers. Mascarpone cream and caramel

We couldn't pass up the opportunity to try 's pasta! The Assassina was a highlight with its crispy bits, well cooked-down and flavoursome tomato sauce, and a good hit of chilli .

Also amongst the hard to find Southern Italian dishes was the Bombette Pugliesi. The protein was handled well, and the herbs and cacio cavallo helped balance out the saltiness of the pancetta.

//
- Assassina
- Scialatielli - handcut noodle pasta, seafood, garlic and chili
- Bombette Pugliesi - pork scotch stuffed with cacio cavallo and herbs, wrapped in pancetta

Come to Errol Street where you'll discover Southern Italian dishes at which are harder to find in Melbourne. We were thoroughly impressed!

We started with the Polpo Alla - beautifully charred octopus paired with a rich, tomatoey puttanesca salsa, which is perfect for mopping up with house bread 'la scarpetta' style.

Quail is accompanied by a buttery BBQ corn and barley risotto, which emanates a buttery fragrance as soon as it hits the table.

The Beccafico - stuffed batter fried sardines - are not as fishy as you might fear, and come with a tasty nduja mayo.

//

- Polpo Alla - Luciana chargrilled octopus, puttanesca salsa
- Qu***ia - deboned and pan fried quail, bbq corn, barley risotto
- Beccafico - batter fried sardines, chardonnay whipped ricotta, nduja mayo, sweet olive dust
