Newcomer, Almost French Epicure, is the little sister to . The vision is to be a sanctuary where you can slow down to enjoy coffee, pastries and cakes, cheese, charcuterie and wine. Food is made fresh daily using quality produce, but still at accessible prices.
There's even a little section where you can find chocolates, lollies and other French snacks!
Coffee is from Axil, and is a finalist (and the only Victorian cafe left in the running) for Best New Cafe at the upcoming Coffee Heroes Awards.

The space delivers. It's a relaxing, comfortable place to visit. Of the savouries, my favourite is the Prosciutto Baguette - great bread and a classic combination of ingredients that doesn't disappoint.
We also loved the Almond Croissant, which was crisp and had a delicious filling that was not too sweet, the Lemon Tart, with its beautifully flavoured lemon curd, and also the Macarons, which possessed a great chew. There were so many tempting items that it was hard to choose, so another visit may be in order.
Would recommend, whether it's for coffee, sweets, or savouries during the day, or perhaps a bit of cheese and wine around dinner time.
