The doors to our Kitchen Shop are open Mondays to Fridays from 10am to 4pm. Alternatively, Order Online for Pickup from Northcote or we can deliver your desserts for you to Melbourne and Regional Victoria. We offer next business day Melbourne deliveries. If you call us in the morning, we may be able to arrange for same day deliveries for you. Please place your order by Tuesday evening for regional

deliveries which get delivered every Thursday and Friday.

Dandenong, it's time for us to say goodbye.

Our Dandenong Market shop is closing for good, and our last day of trading will be Tuesday 30 June 2026.

If you've ever come by for freshly filled choux, a hot toastie, cheesecake, a Henchmen Cookie, or just because you needed somewhere safe to buy gluten free food. Thank you.

If you've brought your kids or grandkids, your parents, your partner, your coeliac friend, your workmate, or someone who was nervous about eating out. Thank you.

If you told someone, "You can actually eat this," and sent them our way. Thank you.

You made this little shop so much more than a shop.

You made it part of your market day, your weekend routine, your treat run, your lunch stop, your gluten free safe place.

We'd love to see you before we close the doors one last time.

While we're saying goodbye to Dandenong, this isn't goodbye to Butter Mafia.

We'll continue baking from Northcote, and we look forward to welcoming you there.

One choux is waving goodbye. One muffin is making a comeback.

Very dramatic. Very bakery.

This weekend is the final week for our Spiced Pear & Custard Choux before we move on to a new flavour.

Our Vanilla Custard Choux will be available all weekend.

We've also managed to get our hands on fresh corn again, which means Corn, Cheese & Jalapeño is back for Savoury Muffin Friday.

Joining it is our Three Cheese savoury muffin, which is low FODMAP with no garlic or onion.

And because Melbourne has decided it's definitely winter now, and we've got a long weekend ahead of us, this is not the weekend for a sad snack.

It's a hot toastie, fresh choux and complimentary filter coffee kind of Saturday.

Everything is 100% gluten free. Always.

This weekend's special choux is filled with spiced pear compote and silky vanilla custard.

What a weekend ❤️

Thank you for letting us be part of your Mother’s Day.

Seeing your tables set, scones warmed, tea poured and our High Tea Boxes shared with mums, grandmas and loved ones means more to us than you probably realise.

This week was a huge one behind the scenes at Butter Mafia. A whole lot of planning, baking, packing, early mornings and teamwork to make it all happen.

I also want to say a huge thank you to our team, who worked incredibly hard all week to help bring these boxes to life. A lot of care went into every single one that left our kitchen this weekend.

We’re incredibly grateful for every order, every message and every photo shared with us over the past few days.

Tomorrow (Monday), Butter Mafia will be closed so the team can have some well deserved rest after a very big Mother’s Day week.

We’ll see you again on Tuesday ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day ❤️

To the mums who held everything together when nobody noticed.
The ones who gave without keeping score.
The ones who made home feel like home.

My mum’s overseas at the moment, so I won’t get to spend today with her — which probably makes me appreciate her even more.

A lot of what Butter Mafia is built on — generosity, feeding people properly, showing love through food — comes from her.

Today’s not really about gifts.
It’s about slowing down for a little while and letting the people you love know they matter.

Wherever you are today, I hope you get to share a beautiful moment with the people you love most ❤️
