Our guy JP with the goods.

Recently awarded Connect Salesperson of the Year, JP has always got his finger on the pulse for products that are made for the menu. He’s straight forward when it comes to his recommendations, that a product has a purpose and job to do and these are the ones that are doing it well and a little differently. As follows:

Crossip Blazing Pineapple - “Packs a bold chilli and Pineapple hit to any drink. Great way to add some complexity to a cocktail with ease. Add it in your Tommy’s Margarita for something new.”

Tromba Blanco - “My go to Tequila since I first tried it working in bars. Can’t go past this in a Tommy’s Margarita on a warm Summer day.”

Mountain Culture Aussie Premium L***r - “Go to everyday l***r. Refreshing, clean and crisp and all Australian!”

It’s all in the technique sensei.

Aperol takes the spritz seriously. When they say 3:2:1, they mean it.

No floating ice. Correct ratios. The right garnish. That’s the drink.

The stakes were high when our team poured for industry peers rather than ourselves. We came away knowing the aperitivo style runs wider than one bottle. Cynar, Aperol and the newly landed Sarti Rosa, already tipped as the spritz of summer, each bring their own take.

Taste what you hear or hear what you taste.

The Treasury Listening Room brought Coldstream Hills and Penfolds together in a space built around, sound changing the way we experience w**e. Each vino was expertly paired with its own vinyl track, drawing out the provenance behind it, how it pairs, and where it’s best enjoyed, the detail that a tasting might leave behind as the glass empties.

Curate these details with music however and they stop fading. They stick and they stay.

W**e has always been about the vibe of the moment, as much as what’s in the glass. This made that connection audible, memorable, and delicious.

A Dram Through Time

A hearty welcome with a taste of bag pipes on the first night of our annual conference. An immersion that took us on a journey through the iconic Dufftown home of Glenfiddich and a stepped journey through the age statements of this delicious Wh**ky.

Not only was this experience a marvel of flavour with dinner to match, the team were challenged at full swing with recreating the beautiful architecture of the bottle expressed in the ancient art form of origami. Results did vary.

Join the disruptor or be disrupted.

Three days in Tokyo, more than 150 of our team and supplier partners, brought together around one challenge and a woven narrative across three days, Dare, Disrupt and Dive In.

Suppliers and Paramount moved through all of it side by side, no separation between them, and the energy and creativity in that room carried the whole week. By the final night, 150 people from different businesses felt like one ecosystem.
