It’s curry weather right now in Melbourne. So you’ll be seeing me make quite a few different recipes this winter. This particular one is really good. I didn’t have the full quantity of beef so I added some root veggies during the last 30 min cook time. I love how easy curries and casseroles are to make in the Thermomix®. Guided recipes help me get dinner on the table faster and with less stress. Plus I still have the freedom to tweak recipes to suit the ingredients I have in my pantry and fridge.

There's a new One Pot Wonders collection released on Cookidoo. I love the intent behind this collection - designed for busy families and to get dinner on the table quickly. Many of the recipes include the new Open Cooking Mode for the TM7. With Open Cooking, the blade on the TM7 remains stationary and the lid can be on or off. This means you can cook delicate ingredients without the worry of it breaking down. If you like a recipe you see, you can still adapt the flavours and ingredients to suit you and your family. Lots of excitement at our branch Thermomix® Mid Year Celebration event today! I’m pictured here with my supportive team leader Vivian Lau. Ricotta Gnocchi alla Sorrentina with prawns 🍤

…. I added the prawns to the sauce during the last step and switched over to open cooking mode in my TM7 to stir the prawns and spinach. For a pasta dish, this is quite filling - the ricotta gnocchi and extra prawns help! Both recipes can be found on Cookidoo® - the additional of prawns is my variation.

I’m thrilled with how this beef and veggie stir fry turned out tonight! Earlier this evening I went live on TikTok and demonstrated my method using the new Browning Mode. The beef was soft and tender and the veggies not overcooked. I rehydrated Yee Mee noodles and tossed them through with the beef and veggies.

This is not a recipe you will find on Cookidoo - I use the same principles from cooking in a wok and apply it to the TM7. If you love experimenting like I do, you will love the freedom of what you can do in the TM7.

It only takes 25 seconds of whipping time to take away any chocolate cravings you have! Sophia Brown’s recipe is a quick dessert you can make provided you have Milo, cream, chocolate chips, sugar and cocoa powder ready to go. Serve in small portions… a little goes a long way to satisfying the sweet tooth. This recipe was originally from the Thermomix® recipe community website and has made its way into the Cookidoo® recipe platform for you to follow along in guided cooking mode. It’s also a great recipe to add to your “dessert cup collection” on Cookidoo.

It’s a great opportunity to learn how to use the TM7 hands on and ask questions whilst the recipes are being made.
