Today was something special.

To all the locals who popped in for a chat, and to the travellers who pulled off the highway and found their way through our door — thank you.

We didn’t just have customers today… we had conversations.
Stories shared over the counter, memories of Gundagai, road trip tales, and a few laughs along the way. That’s exactly what we hoped this place would become.

It’s not just about what’s on the shelves — it’s about the people who walk through the door.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support, the kind words, and the time you took to stop in and be part of our first days.

Whilst we will no longer be farming, gardening, raising animals or preserving, sometimes you just have to accept the universe has other plans for you.
We are so blessed to have lived the life we did, but look forward to sharing our next chapter "Marshall's Mercantile" with you.

It's the dawn of a new era folks. Hillcrest Farm has found its next custodians and we couldn't be more thrilled. We always knew the farm would find the perfect people to cherish and it's done exactly that.
It's almost impossible to condense 13 incredible years into one post, so we won't even try.
Blessed to have the memories, to have shared our life with so many magnificent animals, to have had the experiences and the laughter. This will be our last Hillcrest post.
Let the next chapter in life begin!

This makes us so happy!
To think the next custodians of our farm will be able to move in and feast on an abundance of fresh food.
The almonds and pears have started to take shape. How good is that! An edible garden at your back door.

Ww are so pleased to announce the Roadside stall has found a new home, where it will be living on a dahlia farm.
Its the end of an era, and its time to find a new home for the once iconic 'Hillcrest Farm Roadside Stall'.
This little beauty started her days as a fruit cart on the streets of Sydney, before making her way to the side of the road in Dean.
She's been out of commission for a few years now and while the steel frame and wheels are good, she could do with some minor timber repairs and a coat of paint.
She's a real show stopper if you were dreaming of opening a Roadside stall.$600.
