I think I’m addicted to BBQ.

Not in a loud, look-at-me way.
More in the quiet, can’t-stop-thinking-about-it kind of way.

I love cooking for people. Always have.
But somewhere along the line this turned into something else…
Now it’s the thing I look forward to every couple of weeks.
The early mornings. The fire coming to life.
That slow, patient wait while the smoke does its thing.

And then the best part — handing food to someone and watching their face change after the first bite.
That little smile. The nod. The “wow”.

Properly good BBQ just makes people happy.
And honestly… chasing that feeling might be the real addiction.

Anyway. Just a behind-the-scenes thought from someone who probably thinks about brisket a bit too much.

Just a small update for this year.

We’re now running BBQ service days on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month.
Same low and slow cooking, just a clearer rhythm so you always know when we’re on.

If you’re planning to take BBQ home, the best move is to pre-order online before the weekend.
We cook in small batches and things do sell out.

Somewhat understated and never overrated, The Brisket Sandwich. Simple brioche bread, sliced brisket and a splash of sauce. Incredible.

One of the best parts of bbq is being up before everyone else and watching the sunrise. That time of day everything is so quiet and still. It’s just me, the fire and the briskets. I always find this time so relaxing and restorative. People can’t believe I’ll nurse a fire for 12+ hours to make brisket. I can’t believe more people haven’t discovered how rejuvenating this process really is.
