🎀 PinK by Karmin turns ONE! 🎀

Things have been crazy busy over the past few weeks, in the best possible way that I almost forgot to celebrate my biggest milestone yet… PinK by Karmin’s FIRST BIRTHDAY! 🎂 💗

So today I’m throwing myself (with my immediate family) a little birthday party to celebrate!

I’m so incredibly grateful for all the support I’ve received over the past year from my family, friends, customers and even people I’ve never met before who have supported my little business🥹

But especially my family, parents and partner. I truly couldn’t have done this without them. From helping behind the scenes, listening to my ideas (and complaints 😂), giving advice and always encouraging me to keep going and grow, they’ve been such a huge part of PinK by Karmin’s first year💕

PinK by Karmin has grown so much, especially over the past few months, and seeing all the dedication, hard work and love I’ve put into this business start to pay off is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Here’s to one year of PinK by Karmin… and hopefully many, many more! 🩷

🌸Spring Floral Cake 🌸

One of my favourite cakes I’ve made!

This was an order where I was given the freedom to choose the decoration and this is what I came up with, a simple white cake with a squiggle of buttercream covered in beautiful edible flowers 🌸🌼

Vanilla cake, strawberry jam filling & vanilla bean buttercream, finished with all edible flowers for a soft spring inspired look.

Some of the edible flowers even came from my grandma’s garden 🫶

This style starts from $180

I’d definitely make this one again! 💗

Earlier this week, I put together a little morning tea for St Pats 🫶

It included a mix of brownies, caramel slice, mini sausage rolls made with homemade pastry and came with sauces, a seasonal fruit platter and custom sugar cookies in four of the school colours. 🍓🍪

Although… the fruit platter nearly didn’t make it there. I dropped the whole thing about 5 minutes after finishing it, so it was straight back to the kitchen to make another one!
Thankfully platter number two made it safely🙌😂

A Basque cheesecake topped with fresh raspberries I made for a customer last week 🍓

I love how a simple topping like fresh berries can finish off a Basque cheesecake so nicely.

And apparently it was a hit with the whole family, her husband and kids loved it!

My Basque cheesecakes are $65 plain or $75 with your choice of fresh berries - one berry or a mix🍓🫐

And if you want to make it birthday ready. Add a Happy Birthday cake topper for an extra $10🎂

One jar, so many ways to use it! 🌶️🍅

My spicy tomato relish is the finishing touch to this loaded Mexican chicken rice bowl. It adds the perfect balance of sweetness, tang and just the right amount of spice.

Tonight’s bowl:
Rice
Slow cooked Mexican-style shredded chicken
Cheese
Tomato
Red onion
Guacamole
Sour cream

I can’t believe I almost forgot to share this one! 🫶

A few weeks ago I made a carrot cake for a birthday celebration, complete with cream cheese frosting and plenty of roasted walnuts🥕🍰

I was sent these photos afterwards along with a lovely message saying it was beautiful. It’s always so nice to hear that my baking was enjoyed! 💞
