Our Thai Green Chicken Curry is now available in over 500 Coles locations nationwide!
Last month we had some pretty upsetting and difficult news to share as we had been forced to shutter our entire production operation due to staffing issues. And unfortunately that hasn't been resolved as we were forced to give up the lease on our manufacturing facility.
We had been speaking with Coles about the potential to range some of our meals in their freezer and, after finding a local manufacturing partner, Coles have agreed to trial our Thai Green Chicken Curry in over 500 stores around the country. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time a dedicated Low FODMAP brand has been ranged in the freezer section of one of the major supermarkets in the country, so this is hugely exciting news for us and also for the larger LoFo community.
Coles have been great in giving us an opportunity to demonstrate the need for options for people like us.
They are interested in the potential to bring in more products, but, the commercial reality is that they will need to see demonstrated sales results before they agree to increase the range to either more stores or more products. So, with your help, we hope to show Coles that LoFo is here to stay and we deserve a permanent spot in their freezer (and elsewhere!).
Before we shut down, we had close to 40 different products available across both the frozen (meals and desserts) and ambient (sauces, spices and mixes) categories and if all goes well with this product we are both hopeful and committed to bringing back the entire range.
We said in our last update that our story wasn't yet over, and we would continue to work towards our vision of changing the world for people with food allergies and intolerances. And with your help we will continue to do just that.
