Sustainability is an important part of our Box Divvy ethos, and we welcome member’s suggestions on how we can improve and implement processes to support this.

Usually our loose items like green beans, Brussels sprouts, snow peas and sugar snaps are placed in piles in your boxes, separated by other items so that we don’t need to use plastic bags (lettuce and other loose leaf items are usually bagged, and mushrooms are paper bagged).

Recently a member asked if we could utilise reusable mesh produce bags, and we jumped at the chance to use these! We now have a place to hang individual member’s bags, and they simply wash and return their bags with their boxes each week so that they can be reused!
