EURI GOLD FARMS

EURI GOLD FARMS EURI GOLD FARMS was established in 1976. We are located north of Bowen, Queensland. Our mango season is approximately November to January.

Mango Growers
Lionel & Jan Williams purchased the original property in 1976. Tomatoes were the main crop grown until 2015. The first R2E2 mango trees were planted in 1985 as well as other varieties. In 2002 the rights to grow Honey Gold from "Piñata Farms" was obtained. While these two varieties are our main commercial crop, different mango varieties are grown on the property for tasting.

10 March 1976 - 10 March 2026
50 years ago Lionel & Jan Williams purchased a property at East Euri Road. Along with their three children, Randall, Dale and Pauline they grew tomatoes, other vegetables and beef cattle. Over the years the property has expanded and they grow mangoes and a larger herd of cattle. Their family has also grown and they have seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren making four generations who have lived on Euri Gold Farms property.

During December we had a few families come to the farm to see what is involved in getting our mangoes to the shops. For one family they enjoyed their visit the other year and came back this year. After seeing the pickers at work, they are allowed to pick a mango under supervision. Mangoes have a sap that can burn your skin and some people have an allergic reaction. Care must always be taken.
