Good morning 🤩 just a little update to let you know we are still here 👋 There hasn’t been much time for posting of late - has been a little hectic with sorting out aged care needs for family members, medical appointments, and day to day running of the farm and business! Hay season is also about to kick off too! But the team at Bannock Brae are still humming along like a well-oiled machine ready to take your orders and bring our farm fresh produce to your table! Last Friday we were privileged to attend the annual Farm to Table long lunch in Toowoomba. Huge shout out to Kristen O’Brien from Dine Darling Downs for organising another outstanding event, showcasing local produce and advocating for our farmers 🧑🏼‍🌾 Bannock Brae was proud to supply our local lamb for the first course, with Chef Olaf preparing an amazing lunch for over 200 people to enjoy 😄 Kieren also had the privilege of speaking about life on a multi-generational farm and the importance of supporting your local farmers, artisans, bakers and cafes and restaurants. An awesome day!

Things are finally starting to return to normal!! ☺️ When the world went mad a couple of months ago, it also went crazy here at Bannock Brae with a bit of a feeding frenzy and our wait times blew out to about 6-8 weeks!!! A little bit reminiscent of the panic buying during Covid.
But life is settling down again and we’re happy to say the wait times have lessened back to normal which is usually a 1-2 week wait.
We’ve got plenty of top quality beef rolling through the shop, fresh from our farm to you - it’s a great time to order that side, quarter or eighth of beef you’ve been meaning to organise!
