We really appreciate you contacting us, but there’s been a few changes in our lives the last few months.

The Colony Concept, Keepers Mead and Brewing and our Southern Forests Honey stall @ Origins Market have now closed. This includes any online sales until we return from a long awaited break until September 1st, when we shall be reassessing SFHoney and Keepers possibilities.

Well what a ride!

For over 13 years now, Sarah and I have been working to build Southern Forests Honey, and the entire range of our honey-based products.

After much deliberation in 2019, we embarked on a journey to build a honey centre in the Margret River Region.

The Colony Concept was a place where we could showcase our honey and show the world what could be done with this natural product. It has been an amazing success distributing honey products to people from all over the world.

We had planned to pass it on as our legacy, but fate has something else in store for us. We have been faced with a choice of going bigger or stepping back .

Somewhere along the line of our evolution, life became too much about work and not enough about balance.

There have been some amazing people we have worked with and met , there've been tears of both joy and sorrow, and we’ve had to adapt, pivot and morph more times than we can remember.

It is the right time for us to get back to our lives, we need to spend some much over due time with loved ones, especially our 2 kids 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 to whom have been amazing through this whole journey, understanding the late nights and early mornings, assisting us in the field, packing shed, on delivery runs, in the kitchen or in the shops.

We will be closing The Colony Concept at the end of this school holidays and welcome all Southern Forests Honey. and Keepers Mead and Brewing Co lovers to come and say hi or bye until then.

We will be happy to discuss the next steps face to face so come in and say Hi, 👋🏻
grab your mead,(don't forget your empty growlers to refill with what’s on tap )
grab your honey (better make it a big jar),
grab your Chefs Range (there wont be anything else quite like it) as we will only officially be at THE COLONY CONCEPT till
MONDAY 17th of July.

The clearing sale has already begun with an ongoing clearing sale till the 23rd.

Our last day of trade Origins Market Busselton will SUNDAY 16th JULY

You will still be able to make online orders until TUESDAY 11th JULY
bearing in mind that our website will have to be updated daily with moving stock - so you are better off coming to visit us in person to see what’s available.
