- our 2025 courtyard makeover resumed this week 🤗❤️

- the last 12 months we’ve been consumed with alpaca fleece, felting and the start of workshops in our barn…the courtyard became a very neglected space 🫣

- still more to do, but determined to finish this space before the summer heat really sets in 🥵

- posting updates is also a good incentive to get this thing done 💪🏼

- nefotlak farm crew…a series…no. 1 ❤️

- Benji’s bio:
* breed - Italian Maremma Guardian Dog
* rescue pup
* now 21 months old
* over 40kgs (Benji was the runt of his litter…his brother is 60kgs!)
* he guards Wal & I more than the alpacas as we can’t leave him outside with the herd all night (too many close neighbours & he would bark all night at foxes and anything else that moves)
* different to any other dog we’ve EVER owned
* not great recall
* loves cuddles and makes us feel very safe
* we introduce him only to those visitors who love dogs and agree to an introduction

- hmmmm…who shall we introduce next?! 🤔

- farm update 11 Oct 2026 🤍🤍

- busy on farm🦙 and precious moments with family 🥰 👶🐶

- bucket list item for Wal…attending the Bathurst 1000 with Em, Sam and Sam’s wonderful family…a huge 2 days but such a good time ❤️ 🏁 🚗

- I think this week is going to be a little calmer 🤞🏼🫠

- such a fun experimental day with the amazing costume designer Tania Jobson 🥰

- the biggest felting project yet…with LOTS of alpaca fleece…and it would have been better if it had started out even bigger! 🫣

- an unexpected break from socials 🤍🤍

- we’ve been having a well needed rest for the mind, body and soul…some down-time after the bowl-madness came at just the right time.

- lots happening behind the scenes…fleece cleaning, product development, precious family gatherings, saying goodbye to a loved fur-grandbaby 🫠

- we’re here, plodding away in the background, not so much on the interwebs…but we’re definitely here and will have lots to share in the coming weeks.

- more family adventures over the weekend, then back into more ‘normal’ after that.
