Gold — and Best in Class! 🏅

We’re absolutely thrilled that our Free Range Chicken Pâté Infused with Madeira has won Gold and taken out Best in Class – Best Pâté, Terrine or Rillettes at the 2026 Melbourne Royal Australian Food Awards.

Receiving this at yesterday’s official ceremony was a very proud moment for U Goose.

In our charcuterie lines we were fortunate enough to come home with a medal for every product we entered – including a second Gold for our Goose Rillettes.

There’s so much care, testing and work behind every jar, and seeing it recognised like this means an enormous amount.

We’re thrilled to announce that the U Goose range officially launched at Oasis Murrumbeena last Friday! 🤍🪿

If you’re in Melbourne, head into the Murrumbeena store and discover our range of pâtés, rillettes and award-winning terrines.

Every purchase supports Australian farmers like us, regional food production and businesses like Oasis that choose to champion locally produced food.

We’ll also be holding an in-store tasting at Oasis Murrumbeena on Saturday, 26 September. Come along, meet the producer and taste the U Goose range—we would love to see you there!

Over the course of the season, the team have created some truly beautiful dishes using our U Goose ducks.

One of the most rewarding parts of what we do is seeing talented chefs take our birds and transform them into dishes that showcase not only the versatility of duck, but also the creativity, skill and attention to detail that define great regional dining.

These dishes represent just a small snapshot of what has come from the partnership between our farm and the Hogget kitchen throughout the season.

We're excited and look forward to seeing what they create next!
