We’re thrilled to share that our 2024 Reserve Chardonnay has been awarded an outstanding 96 points by James Halliday! 🍾✨

Reviewer Jenni Port was highly impressed by this premium, barrel-fermented Chardonnay, describing a wine of richness, complexity, texture and balance.

Crafted from French Chardonnay clones 76 and 96, barrel fermented in new French oak and matured for 13 months, this wine showcases beautiful layers of citrus and stone fruit, complemented by creamy texture, subtle oak spice, and a lingering finish.

A wonderful recognition of the care and craftsmanship that goes into every bottle. We couldn't be prouder! 🥂

The menu has been set for our wonderful Wood Park Dinner. Chef Ben Bothwick of King River Café fame has selected the finest ingredients to create a menu of culinary delights, which our own John Stokes has matched to his famous wines.

Canapes: Banh Mi profiteroles & Prawn Blini. Matched to Wood Park 2023 Prosecco & Whitlands 2024 Pinot Gris.
Entrée: Beetroot cured duck breast with Middle Eastern spices | Sauteed scallops, trout nicoise. Matched to Whitlands 2024 Pinot Noir & Wood Park 2022 Chardonnay.
Main: Duo of Warrenbayne Lamb | Poultry breast chimichurri. Matched to Wood Park 2018 Reserve Cabernet & Wood Park 2021 Reserve Zinfandel.
Dessert: An utter joy, a sweet tasting plate of King River Café favourites perfectly matched to Wood Parks 2022 Premium Reserve Late Harvest Botrytis Viognier.

All this as well as wonderful music by Yolanda and her Jazz Blues band and an open cellar door with 20% off purchases on the night.

Cost is $110 per person and tables are filling fast. We have tables from 2 to as many as you would like.

Wood Park Wines recently had the pleasure of supplying the wine and attending the combined Chamber of Commerce Dinner at Feathertop Alpine Lodge at Falls Creek.
The food was superb, the company delightful (thank you Marnie) and Steve and his staff were super attentive, the wines were pretty good too!!!
A great night was had by all.
