Trentham Estate is a family owned winery and restaurant, set right on the banks of the Murray River in the Murray Darling wine region, 15 minutes from Mildura, Vic.

Bottling days are always good days… we love seeing the latest go into bottle ready for release 🍷

We had our 2024 Cellar Reserve Shiraz go down the line very late last year, and after a season of being enjoyed by own Wine Club members it's now available to all!

Perfect to enjoy over winter - with some extra bottles placed in the cellar for the next few - this single vineyard Shiraz is a bright, fruit-driven style with a medium-weight palate of ripe berries and subtle oak finishing with fine tannins. The high quality fruit was produced from the Mildura vineyard of Fred and Joanne De Blasio, and the final wine carefully bottled and labelled onsite at our winery.

We're absolutely thrilled to have received GOLD for our 2025 Cellar Reserve Verdejo at the 2026 National Wine Show of Australia 🥇

As Australia’s premier wine event, this show features only gold and silver medal-winning wines from capital city and regional wine shows. After winning multiple silvers last year, this 95-point Gold is the icing on the cake for our Verdejo!

Our Wine Club members were onto this one quickly after hearing first word (and knowing well how fantastic this wine is), and our remaining stock is now VERY limited. We recommend you head into our Cellar Door or place an online order quickly before we sell through.

Our Reserve Adelaide Hills Chardonnay wasn't going to miss out on sharing the international spotlight...

The 2024 release has once again received Silver at the International Wine & Spirit Competition, attracting 93 points and these admiring comments from the judges:

'Ripe citrus aromas lead to a palate of baked apples and citrus fruits. Well-balanced, dry finish with gentle oak and toasted almond hints. Light and refreshing with real finesse and elegance. Wonderfully moreish.'

This crisp, cool-climate Chardonnay of ours is absolutely one to try if you haven't yet...

In more international wine show news, we're thrilled to have received two Silver medals at the International Wine Challenge!

90 points were awarded to our much loved 2025 The Family Vermentino 🙌 not much stock at all remains of this one so best get in quick before we roll to the next (also pretty fantastic, we must say) vintage release. This latest Silver adds to the wine's Gold at the Australian Inland Wine Show and another 90 point Silver at Royal Adelaide last year.

Of course the second Silver has been awarded to our 2024 Reserve Heathcote Shiraz - a brilliant follow up to our stellar 2023 vintage that brought us numerous awards. The judges highlighted this entry as 'plush and smooth with warmth and a fine backbone.'

We're proud to announce our 2023 Estate Grown Shiraz has been awarded a Grand Prize at the 2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards 🏆

The judges declared it "a bold Shiraz that captures the sun of Australia’s Murray Darling region, bursting with rich fruit flavours and vibrant spice." This vintage has recently sold out at our Cellar Door so be sure to keep your eyes open at your favourite stockist.

We're pleased to now be distributing in South Korea, one of our many Asian markets, where our wines have received a great reception so far!

Our very first 2026 vintage wine is on the shelves!

The newest The Family Moscato has landed at Cellar Door and she's a beauty - bright yet soft, deliciously fruity and very refreshing. Not to mention incredibly moreish! Drop into our winery and be one of the first to have a taste, or keep an eye out at your favourite stockist in the coming weeks.

After a vigorous yet very rewarding vintage, we're excited to have already bottled FIVE 2026 wines, with our next release coming up as soon as next week. Which are you keen to see and try?

Please note our Estate will be closed this Saturday 25th April for Anzac Day, and again on Monday 27th for the public holiday being observed in New South Wales.

Feel free to call in on Sunday 26th however for a tasting, lunch or both - these sunny days have been just perfect lately for relaxing by the river with a glass of wine!
