As we wave winter goodbye and look forward to some beautiful sunshine over the next week, we wanted to thank the wonderful guests who joined us for Tour & Tasting With The Winemakers recently as part of the 'Why Not Winter in Wentworth?' campaign in our region.

The group enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of our winery and cellar - with some tastings direct from the tank en route - followed by a vertical Reserve Shiraz and fortifieds tasting paired with canapes in our barrel room. Winemakers Anthony and Katherine answered plenty of insightful questions and we were pleased to have so many of our Wine Club members along as well as new, curious wine lovers keen to learn more!

✨ DECANTER GOLD ✨

After a BIG few weeks of outstanding wine show news here at Trentham Estate, we're absolutely thrilled to announce this latest accolade.

Our team are proud to share that our 2024 Reserve Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon has been awarded a Gold medal and a spectacular 95 points at the 2026 Decanter World Wine Awards.

After an incredible Best in Show achievement at last year’s awards for our 2023 Reserve Heathcote Shiraz, this is another superb result for Trentham and a testament to both the quality of the vintage and the meticulous work of our winemaking team.

For those curious, our follow-up 2024 vintage Reserve Heathcote Shiraz picked up a 90-point Silver medal itself at this show which was fantastic to see!

This recognition adds further momentum to our 2024 Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, building on the success of the previous 2021 vintage which earned multiple awards, setting a high benchmark that we're so proud to see the 2024 vintage is meeting on the world stage.

Our team are well and truly riding a high from these amazing honours. If you haven't yet, drop a congratulatory comment for them to see, and of course make sure you purchase yourself a bottle or two of this gold medal winner to enjoy now or save for a special day.
