EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY BROADACRE CROPPING
Bell Group is offering an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated young farmers to gain hands-on experience working within a progressive, large-scale broadacre cropping and livestock enterprise in Australia.
Our business operates across two diverse locations:
-Millicent, South Australia
-Narromine, New South Wales
Each aggregation offers unique farming systems, climates and production practices, providing an outstanding opportunity to broaden your agricultural knowledge and develop a wide range of practical skills.
MILLICENT, SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Our Millicent aggregation operates approximately 3,000 hectares of cropping in the high rainfall zone of southern Australia. Crops include:
-Canola
-Wheat
-broad beans
-Small seeds
-Hay and Straw
Alongside the cropping program, we operate a 14,500-head composite sheep breeding enterprise opportunities to be invloved in this side of the business will be avalible in some of the busy periods
NARROMINE, NEW SOUTH WALES
Our Narromine aggregation comprises approximately 6200 hectares of broadacre cropping in the Central West of New South Wales. Crops include:
-Canola
-Lentils
-Faba beans
-Chickpeas
-Wheat
-Barley
-Hay and Straw
THE OPPORTUNITY
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to experience a complete Australian harvest across both aggregations, commencing in Narromine during September and finishing in Millicent in February.
For applicants seeking a longer-term career with Bell Group Australia, opportunities may also be available to participate in the full seeding program. Earlier start dates can also be arranged for suitable candidates.

-Previous machinery expirence is essential

-Windrowing and mowing (MacDon)
-Bale accumulator operation (Mil-Stak & Jadan)
-Large square baling (Krone 8-strings)
-Combine harvesting (John Deere X9s)
-Chaser bin operation (Coolamon)
-Tillage
-Air seeding
-Truck driving
-General farm maintenance
-Livestock operations
