The very beginning of pre training. This filly KC Spice Girl by Secret bred by KC Performance Horses is nice and relaxed on the lunge. At this stage no bridle, just a cavesson and roller. Holly has learnt the voice commands on the lunge. This will be useful later on when she starts under saddle. We go thru this handling exercise maybe twice a week.

Love the way it says 'Special' GP. Tough test, havent done it for 2 years. Great test though to ride...even if you run out of breath!!

The two tired faces of my beloved champions Lincoln Lord Astor and Why Waltz Furst Dance, both members of the 2020 Saddleworld Rockhampton RTRS at the Coast Dressage Championships.
It was so lovely to be out competing after a 12 month break,the rider felt really rusty, but both horses did their thing...very proud if them. Will post some real pics when l get them from Shepherd.
