Willarah Farm hitting the headlines again. We're loving the eShepherd collars, we're already seeing improvements in pasture consumption. The cattle graze the paddock evenly and there's more time for recovery between grazes!

How cool is this!
eShepherd Virtual Fencing doing its thing while im away. Before work I put the cows into this fresh paddock, I then set it up to release 0.05 hectares of fresh grass every 2 hours. As of 530pm tonight this is where theyre up two. I've actually slowed the segments down to every 3 hours because they hadn't chewed it down as much as id like.
The blue mark is the water point and im rotating around anticlockwise.

How to fatten steers in Mirboo North

These guys are getting the pamper package, a warm shed, fresh bale of hay 3 metres away and clean creek water 30 metres down the hill.

If these steaks aren't tender then we don't know what more we can do.

Starting to see some really interesting patterns about where our cattle congregate at night when its cold!
The girls are still in training, getting used to the collars but im already finding some really interesting information, this could help me better plan wind breaks and even further down the track shelters to improve weight loss due to cold/heat stress!
