Heres how I grow my poppies from seed

•Fill seed raising trays with my own seed raising mix recipe. A perfect medium for small delicate seeds such as poppies, pre dampened to help the seed stick

•Sprinkle a seed ontop of the mix, easier said than done! Poppy seeds are minute, like a spec of dust. Separating an individual seed can be tricky, but give it a go.

•Mist lightly with your misting nozzle on your hose

•Cover with a humidity dome and keep moist (not wet)
until germination.

Poppy seedlings are hardy and resilient, what I’ve learnt again this year and I do so every year is ……. Hover less!
