Hey guys! Jake and Mark here 👋
Just letting you all know that while Trev and Courtney are off enjoying their hard-earned break in the Maldives, Sicily… or wherever the hell they’ve disappeared to 😂, we’ll be here holding the fort and steering the ship.
Don’t worry… we’ve got this. Obviously, the ship is in much safer hands now! 😂
Trev was kind enough to leave his little sign behind before he took off, so we figured we’d better put it to good use!

Introducing our newest staff member… Harlen Whittle.

Harlen will be joining the team after school, helping prepare some of our customers’ most-loved products and learning the ropes.

He’s currently saving hard for his first house… and, slightly more urgently, a few new Mario Kart games. 🎮

Be sure to give him a wave next time you’re in store. Although, you might have to look closely, he can barely see over the counter! 👀

Big Trev’s Pick of the Week 👌

This week he’s gone with an old-school favourite. Chicken Mignons.

Tender chicken thigh wrapped in bacon and finished with a generous k**b of garlic butter. Simple, seriously tasty and an easy dinner when you want something that feels a little bit fancy without the effort.

Pop them in the oven or air fryer, add your favourite sides and dinner’s sorted. 🙌

From the extremely early mornings to the days that never seem to end, no matter what challenge gets thrown your way, you somehow always face it with a smile.

No matter how exhausted you are, you come home with the same positive attitude. You’re not only the hardest worker I know, but the most incredible dad. Even when your tank is running on empty, you still make sure our boys get the time and attention they need.

Whether it’s playing footy with Parker, listening to Harlen talk endlessly about Nintendo, or listening to me waffle on about absolute rubbish 😂 you always make time for us.

You’re the centre of our world and the rock that keeps both our family and the shop grounded.

KITCHEN HAND WANTED 🥩

We’re looking for a fast, reliable Kitchen Hand to join our team at Highland Meats Mittagong.

Casual | Monday–Friday | 8am–4pm (we can be flexible) | $30/hr

Duties include:
• Washing up & keeping work areas clean
• Crumbing meat
• Making sausages
• General food preparation duties

No experience necessary. We can teach you the job.

You do need to be quick, hardworking and able to work autonomously. We need someone who can see what needs doing, get stuck in and keep things moving without needing constant direction.
