Have you tried shish*to peppers?
They’re small, delicious and mostly mild but every now and then you’ll get a hot one 🔥 (surprise!)
Blister them in a hot pan, add a splash of soy and a sprinkle of sesame oil or seeds — done and delicious!
Ready now + plenty of fresh basil (on special this week)!

👉 Order through the Growing Together online food hub (https://growing-together.localline.ca/shop). Pickup in Milton on Tuesdays.

We’ll be open at the farm on Sunday, 10am–3pm. Wander through the orchard and forage strawberries, cucumbers, eggplant, lettuce, herbs and tomatoes. It’s a lovely way to show the kids how food grows — and maybe spark some fresh, seasonal cooking at home.
Toasties and ice cream will be available at the café.

🚐 Van on the Highway: open Saturday & Sunday, 11am–4pm
🛍️ Sunday: we’ll also be at the Live & Local Market in Mollymook

Happy Valentine’s Day weekend — hope to see you somewhere along the way.

Rain didn’t stop adventurous visitors today. One group spotted this beautiful diamond python tucked up in the blueberry bushes while they were out exploring the orchard. It’s a reminder that we’re truly in the forest here, sharing space with wildlife. If you ever come across a snake at the farm, please admire from a distance and quietly walk away - no touching or disturbing. Blueberries are extremely scarce at the moment but it’s still nice to wander through and see what you can find.
