A special day at The Cliffs Shedding Sheep Stud as we start to see a new line of shedding sheep being born . These little guys are the result of an Ai program using a Kojack sire over some of our best stud ewes . SheepMaster already has Kojack in it’s development but we are looking to try and increase muscle depth and fat score without loosing our shedding ability .

Classing the weaner SheepMaster ewes today at The Cliffs Shedding Sheep Stud . The criteria to make the cut is shedding , confirmation, dark feet . These young ewes will be joined at 65 kilos live weight and then re classed again after lambing .

These beautiful girls are joined to Kingsman CLF 22122 , a son of Monarch . They are due to lamb end of July at The Cliffs .

Young SheepMaster ewes enjoying their evening meal of silage . Very dry at The Cliffs , we have reduced our ewe no’s considerably and classed our young sale rams ready for our clients when the season breaks .

Today we said goodbye to Lot 3 from our February sale. He is off to his new home at Yeoval . We were privileged to keep the lad for one more joining to 60 specially selected stud ewes . We already have progeny on the ground from this fantastic ram .

Lot no 8 and Lot 24 from our on farm Feb sale are finally off to their new home in Victoria. These two cracking SheepMaster boys are great examples of what we are producing at The Cliffs with a perfect skin , great confirmation and some pretty handy eye muscle and fat scores . Can’t wait to see what their progeny looks like .
