A Rewarding Life 🍄

I've been fumbling my way through this 'ol homesteading journey for nearly 20 years now ... none of it really came naturally to me & I'm pretty much self taught. Apart from teaching myself to cook, preserve & other homestead'y skills, for me the most gratifying to date has been crafting plant medicine. In a deep sense, plants have taught me so much more than decocting a bottle of winter tonic or a pot of nourishing soup. It's taught me 𝑯𝑼𝑴𝑰𝑳𝑰𝑻𝒀; which ironically means 'from the earth' and 𝑯𝑼𝑴𝑨𝑵𝑰𝑻𝒀; 'living with intention & compassion'🤎
